Halloween Events in and Around Milwaukee

One of the most exciting things about Fall is looking forward to all of the Halloween celebrations happening in and around town!  There’s a lot going on this year, from pumpkin carvings, to costume contests, ghost walks and more, so don’t miss out on all the fun.  Get your calendars out, and mark some of the most spooktacular events happening around Milwaukee this season.

Milwaukee Halloween Events 2018

Spooky Stalks Haunted Cornfield

When:  October 26th and 27th from 7 – 10:30 p.m.

Where:  12000 W. Appleton Ave.

You won’t want to miss Milwaukee’s only haunted cornfield this Halloween!  Spooky Stalks is a truly unique adventure in the dark that’s filled with all kinds of amazing illusions, spooky scenery and frightful surprises.  Tickets are just $13, but do keep in mind that due to the scary nature of the haunted cornfield, this event isn’t recommended for children under 12 years of age.  

Ghouls and Spirits Adult Trick-or-Treat Tour

When:  October 26th and 27th

Where:  Milwaukee.  The exact meeting spot will be given upon purchase of your ticket.

Have you ever wanted to go on a haunted tour of the city?  Then, this is your chance! Don your best Halloween costume, and jump on this 3.5-hour haunted bus tour through Milwaukee.  Guests of the Ghouls and Spirits Adult Trick-or-Treat Tour will be treated to scary ghost stories, thrilling rounds of Halloween trivia, pizza, chocolate treats, and a special stop to celebrate Day of the Dead.  Guests must be 21 and over.

Milwaukee Ghost Walks

When:  October 21st at 3 p.m. and October 26th – 27th at 7:30 p.m.

Where:  400 N. Water St. Meet in front of the Public Market.

Submerge yourself in the Halloween spirit on this 1.5-mile walking ghost tour around the Third Ward.  Guests will be treated to haunting stories of the area’s surprising history, as well as ghost stories and folklore.  You’ll even hear about the recent frightful reports of paranormal activity in the area.

The Graveyard Returns

When:  October 27th from 9 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.

Where:  Ugly’s Pub (1125 N. Old World 3rd St.)

The Graveyard Returns is one of Milwaukee’s largest and craziest Halloween parties.  Guests will have access to over 10,000 square feet of haunts and sounds as well as entertainment by Kiss FM DJ Gee A, Rutger Krueger, BG GOOD and SHAYKENN.  There will also be a huge costume contest where the winner will receive a $500 cash prize!

Brady Street Costume Contest

When:  October 27th from 9:30 p.m. – Midnight

Where:  Brady Street (various locations)

In celebration of Halloween, sixteen bars and restaurants along Brady Street will host costume contests.  And, trust us, you won’t want to miss out on this one, because each bar will choose a first-place winner who will go on to be entered into a Grand Prize drawing at midnight.  That winner will be chosen at Hosed and will receive what we’re told is going to be a huge cash prize. There are also prizes for other winners as well, so get working on your most creative costumes!  

Trick-or-Treat at Milwaukee Harley-Davidson

When:  October 27th from Noon – 2 p.m.

Where:  Milwaukee Harley-Davidson (11310 W. Silver Spring Dr.)

Bring the whole family to Milwaukee Harley-Davidson for some Halloween fun and trick-or-treating.  Let the kids enjoy a pumpkin hunt while the adults look around the dealership for their own treats, and don’t miss your chance to be entered to win a $100 gift card as well as other prizes.

The Outsider Voodoo Halloween Costume Party

When:  October 27th from 8 p.m. – 2 a.m.  

Where: The Outsider Rooftop Bar (310 E. Chicago St.)

In celebration of Halloween, The Outsider is bringing New Orleans to Milwaukee, complete with a Voodoo Halloween costume contest.  Guests will be treated creole, zydeco and ragtime music spun by live DJs, as well as a tarot card reader handing out fortunes, or you can test your bravery on the Ouija boards.  Even the chosen food and drinks of the night will be New Orleans Voodoo inspired.
