Brunch has become so much more than just a meal you have on a weekend; it’s such a beloved event for Wisconsinites that now we’ve embraced the idea of brunching every single day of the week! Sure, we’re more inclined to indulge in a few Bloody Marys or mimosas with our food when we don’t have to go into work, but our local eateries are now packed all day, every day with outstanding brunch menus and cocktails.
Bay View and the surrounding Milwaukee area have so many fantastic brunch spots to choose from. So, we’ve picked a few of our favorites to help you cherry-pick through the endless options our wonderful city has to offer. Take a look at these tasty eateries:
Kindred on KK (downstairs!)
For the ultimate mealtime convenience, head downstairs to the first floor of our building for a weekend brunch you won’t soon forget. Kindred’s mouthwatering brunch menu will leave you feeling satisfied and ready to take on the rest of your day. Choose between something savory, something sweet, brunch sandwiches, or small bites. There’s even a dedicated kids’ brunch menu!
Honeypie Cafe (2643 S Kinnickinnic Ave.)
This hotspot is known for making great, Midwestern-inspired food from scratch. From pickles to pie crusts, every customer who walks through their doors is treated to real food, made by hand and rooted in the way the owner’s grandparents used to cook. They use mostly local ingredients to put together their stellar menus, including a delicious brunch menu complete with handmade buttermilk biscuits and house-infused bloody marys.
Sabrosa Cafe & Gallery (3216 S Howell Ave.)
Celebrated Chef Frankie Sanchez (chef and owner of Taqueria Azteca) brings a fantastic breakfast menu for locals to enjoy right here in Bay View. And, the delicious food is just one component of the unforgettable experience customers have when they sit down at Sabrosa Café and Gallery. Patrons also get to enjoy live classical music, stimulating gallery exhibitions, outstanding service and a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere.

Engine Company No. 3 is committed to providing customers with fresh, sustainable, locally sourced food and drinks. They fully believe in the Family Farm way of life and work closely with the most prolific taste-makers and food producers in our surrounding community. Chef Sandoroni’s menus in this renovated firehouse are inspired by a global palette of exciting flavors of both sweet and savory. Just don’t forget to make those brunch reservations! Space is limited, and dining without a reservation is strictly first come first served.
